Problems with the Current Experience.
Through discovery sessions with stakeholders, including recruiters and recent hires (previous job-seekers), the following pain points were identified:
1) Messy Navigation.
For example:
Vague naming conventions in menu items.
No direct login page for job seekers to apply.
2) Frustrating Flow.
For example:
The lack of a "login" button on the home page forced job seekers to search the same jobs twice just to reach a login page.
3) Too Many Clicks.
For example:
Takes too many clicks for a candidate to reach the "Apply" CTA button.
4) Lackluster Visual Design.
For example:
Two sticky navigations created the illusion of cramped space making it difficult to read the content.
